We had a great experience with the crew from Peers. Were able to pack our 2BR apartment, transport 15 min, and unpack into our house in 5 hours. Including a quick lunch break. The crew was efficient, careful (they wrapped all mirrors, pictures, TV) and thoughtful. They disassembled and reassembled furniture (bed frame, desk) well. I would recommend Peers for a move.

If you want a quick job and you don’t care about your furniture then Peers is an acceptable choice. But if you have expensive furniture or antique furniture find a more professional mover. They don’t prewrap the furniture in blankets before moving and then bang into walls and doors. Instead of hand carrying furniture they put it on dollies by leaning the furniture to one side to slip a dolly underneath. This method loosens up the furniture fasteners and cracks veneer. One guy removed bed rails by pounding on them with a fire extinguisher. When I asked how they were trained they replied they were not. As a former mover, I was unimpressed.

I have used Peers MOVING Co on three separate occasions. All three were very satisfactory. The movers were very cooperative, clean and efficient on each move. Furniture was protected, especially glass, tv, etc. The office staff was pleasant, cooperative and honest – as I wrote an incorrect amount on my check. I was immediately called and told what I did and we rectified the situation. I’ve used Peers four previous times before when I was renting and once again in June 2024 when we finally decided to buy a house in NJ. This was a special move in that we had a few renovations done before moving in, such as new wood floors and paint, so we relayed to the owner Tim that it was important to us that every piece was to be lifted and placed and not simply slid along the floor. To be honest, I expected at least some nick and scratches, perhaps on the wall, particularly around the bend of the staircase. Nope, none at all. The guys were super careful in every detail, from securing boxes with additional tape, to laying down blankets on floors, to working as a team to guide each other around tight spaces and corners. The move resulted in zero damage to wall, floor, furniture. And my furniture pieces were huge, unwieldy solid wood pieces. Pricing was fair and honest, with zero hidden fees or surprise surcharges that the industry is notorious for. Peers is hands down the best. I would trust no one else to move.

The move for a 2 bedrm apt + “medium” amt of goods at Cube Smart was so well coordinated. Day 1: 4 guys packing the apt; Day 2: 8 guys loading the apt and retrieval of Cube Smart items and taking to the house and unloading and putting together furniture! This estimate was based on a Face Time and surprisingly accurate! All the guys were great; courteous; and such hard workers on a very hot day & I was mad at myself for not having enough cold water to offer! Good thing I ordered a lot of pizza for lunch and had plenty of tips to give!

I highly recommend Peers Moving Co. Their customer service is top notch – from the office staff to the movers! Their pricng is very competitive and their packing tips were useful. The movers showed up on time, were friendly and were very careful moving all of my furniture and boxes. Nothing was damaged during the move and some of my furniture was quite large and extremely heavy. The movers packed my lamps, mirrors and glass table tops for me. They even had special boxes for my clothes hanging up in closets and packed those as well.

Had a fabulous moving experience with Peers Moving this month. Samir and his team were timely, professional and incredibly well-organized. They navigated multiple staircases and two different layouts (split to center hall colonial) without any problems or damage to any of the furniture, walls, etc. Immaculate work. They even helped move items in the new home once I stood back to look at room layouts and figure out where things should go. They made sure we were totally settled and satisfied before they left. They were efficient without being pushy or making me feel stressed. Honestly such a great team to work with – if we ever need movers again we will absolutely choose them! I’ve used Peers 10 times in 35 years. In all of those moves, only one issue – a flat screen TV broke a number of years ago. They said ‘go to Best Buy and get a bigger one, we’ll pay for it.’ In each case, the final price was lower than the estimate. This time, load took all of 2 hours, unload and setup less than 2 hours. Peers’ guys know what they’re doing, Sheila is awesome, Tony’s estimate took all of 15 minutes. If you’re moving anywhere in/near NJ and don’t use Peers, why take that risk?

Just finished a move from Randolph to Bloomfield. Peers was excellent every step of the way. Tony was very helpful and knowledgeable during the walkthrough and educated us along the way on how to prepare for the move. They place everything where I asked and even helped me throw two huge rugs out that the previous owner left behind. I would highly recommend this company.

Fast and friendly. Did some minor damage moving a box spring (it happens) but they steeped up quick and took care of me. I would recommend.

The folks at Peers Moving Co are very easy to do business with. It took us almost a year to find our new home and Peers moved our belongings into storage, looked after them for a year, and then repacked the trucks and moved everything to our new home across state lines. Everything went very well and the service was first class. From small things like having the same friendly contacts answer the phone quickly every time I called; to important considerations like the care the teams take in wrapping and packing some treasured items we did not box ourselves and carefully handling all of our furniture… all was professional. I am fussy about customer service excellence and moving is a ‘high touch’ service business, but Peers builds trust from day one and makes the whole experience far less stressful than other national companies we have used in the past. Congrats and thanks to Tim and Sheila for their leadership and Pepe, Samir and ALL members of the moving teams for a job well done!

Peers Moving was so easy to work with. They sent me an itemized list and I just went through and indicated what we had to move; they provided a quote the next day. Their movers were polite and efficient, got everything moved in less time than we expected. Definitely recommend and we will use again if we ever have to move again. Thank you, Peers!

Peers went above and beyond for my recent move. I had a lot of antique furniture and family heirlooms, I found them to be respectful and careful. 8 guys, 8 hours, 2 trucks. They were polite and worked hard the entire time. Tim and Tony are both exceptional to work with as well, friendly, honest, and willing to do whatever it takes to make their customers happy. I fully recommend them to anyone, they will get the job done right!

Tim the owner always responded to my questions very satisfactorily. I moved out of state recently and the move was as smooth as I anticipated besides minor delays due to weather related and truck issues, but this was handled very well by them. Samir the lead guy was excellent, the crew very courteous and fast. Packaging of the items done by them was exceptional. I didn’t had a single piece broken. Tim and the crew are best, they know what they are doing. All I can say that if you are looking for a reliable company don’t look any further. I would recommend them 100%.
